Chinese, dated to Northern and Southern Dynasties to Jin Dynasty. Light-olive-green glazed pottery, probably Yue Ware ewer with twisted handle in the form of a crouching animal or beast, possibly a Chimaera.

Provenance: Property of a Toronto Lady. Pao & Moltke, Toronto. Purchased 2004. With original bill of purchase.
Reference: A similar piece in the Fujian Provincial Museum, excavated in 1975 at the western part of Fuzhoo
