A unique scratch-built MGB Roadster pedal car by Norman Stratton, 1980s,
the alloy bodywork, originally hand-made over a wooden buck, mounted on box section steel chassis, with headlights, grille, bumpers, indicator/sidelights, windscreen, wooden rimmed steering wheel, black upholstery, MG badge to boot, pneumatic tyres, 180cm long overall, playworn.
Footnotes:
Norman Stratton learned his trade as a coachbuilder when he was an apprentice at Trojan in Croydon. The pedal cars were made for use by family members in the 1980s when he had retired.
