Condition
The head has been broken and repaired at the neck, as visible in the catalogue image. The colour of the clay is the same on the head and body and they seem to belong. There are hairline strain cracks extending from the shoulders. There is another strain crack extending from the vent hole at the back. The figure is heavily encrusted, particularly at the back. There is chipping including to the wreath and the top of the hair, as well as to the base. There is a scratch on her drapery below the proper left arm
