A Roman amber and garnet bead necklace

The amber beads of spherical form interspersed with spherical heart-shaped gold pendants with scrolled terminals, squat spherical garnets encased within filigree decorated discs pendant below, two Byzantine style openwork scrolled discs flanking, the bead section 25cm long, 63cm overall, re-strung with modern gold
