George VI Silver Harry Vardon Cigarette Case
mark of Frederick Field, Birmingham, 1951 date mark, rectangular case with engine turned wavy linear decoration, front with paint decorated image of Harry Vardon, the professional golfer from New Jersey who moved to England in 1890. Nicknamed "Harry, the Stylist," he was the first to wear knickerbockers and won the Open Championship a record six times.
