A Grouping of American Coin and Sterling Silver Medallion Pattern Flatware
(10) total pieces, coin pieces to include: including a butter knife pick with mark of Albert Coles, active 1835-1877 (7 3/8 in.); master butter knife with mark of Albert Coles (7 3/8 in.); master butter knife with mark of John Cook, New York City, active 1855-1880 (7 5/8 in.); a master butter knife pick marked "Coin"; a gravy ladle with shell bowl, appears unmarked (acid tested silver) (7 5/8 in.); flat handle tea knife with mark of Philo B. Gilbert, retailer mark of P & F; youth fork without maker's mark.
Sterling pieces to include: small serving spoon, shaped bowl with gilt wash and bright cut designs, handle tip with helmeted figure (6 3/8 in.); enamel demitasse "Conneaut Ohio." souvenir spoon, with mark of Syracuse Silver Manufacturing Co.; master butter knife marked "Sterling" (6 3/4 in.).
