Six Virginia Coin Silver Fruit Spoons, mark of John H. Tyler & Co.
Richmond, Virginia, circa 1866-1883, each with matching script monogram.

John H. Tyler partnered with Samuel P. Mitchell in the firm of Mitchell & Tyler from 1845-1866 in Richmond, Virginia. Afterward, John H. Tyler & Co. was in business from 1866 until John's death in 1883, the firm remaining in business by his sons until 1887.
