NEW ENGLAND PAINT-DECORATED LEATHER FIRE BUCKET, for "THOS BARKER / ENTERPRISE FIRE CLUB", with a fire team responding to a fire in a town setting. Retains an early polychrome painted surface. Possibly Salem, Massachusetts. First half 19th century. 12" H.
