Ornamental bands, profiled edges, punched lines and circles as decoration. Undersides with groove and traces of adhesive. Tip of one beak slightly worn, otherwise intact.ProvenanceFormerly Gallery J.D.Cahn , Basel, Switzerland, thence German art market, 2006.LiteratureThe grooved undersides and adhesive indicate that the birds were originally attached to fibulae.
