Biography: Anatoly Metlan was born in 1964 in the Ukraine near the Black Sea. As a child, he amused himself with the “paintbrush” and the “paint” which he took from his parents, both of whom experimented with art. As he learned about art, he was particularly attracted towards the impressionists and their use of color, space and texture. Metlan has exhibited in one-man shows and group exhibitions worldwide. His works may also be found in private collections, and enjoy overwhelming recognition.
