A KESI SILK FRAGMENT WITH IMMORTALS
China, Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 18th century. Woven in Kesi technique in bright colors with a scene depicting three figures next to a vase with lingzhi, symbolizing longevity, on a terrace, and holding their various attributes, all under a large pine tree reaching up to the clouds.
Condition: With some wear and small losses, few loose threads and repairs. Mounted to a paper passepartout.
Provenance: Old German private collection, assembled between the 1970s and 1990s.
