Description
A pair of Chinese famille rose waisted bowls dating from the 19th century. The interior features flowers, birds, peaches, and a bat, while the exterior depicts various birds including a crane and a phoenix in a landscape scene. The bottom of each bowl has a 6-character mark.
Dimensions are: 2 7/8 inches tall X 6 5/8 inches in diameter, 7.3 cm X 16.8 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Provenance: From a private Atlanta, Georgia collection.
Condition: One of the bowls has extensive areas of breakage and repair to the rim. The other bowl is in overall good condition.
