Description
A group of four Chinese blue and red underglazed porcelains dating from the 18th to 19th century. The group includes a blue and red underglazed hat stand, a blue and white brush pot with a wooden stand, a blue and white basin, and a blue and white bowl.
Dimensions are: the hat stand measures 11 1/4 inches tall X 4 3/4 inches diameter, 28.58 cm X 12.07 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Provenance: From Mrs. McClellan in Las Vegas, Nevada. The pieces in this collection were acquired in mainland China or Hong Kong from the 1980s to the early 1990s. Lots 26 to 43 are from the same collection.
Condition: The hat stand has a hairline to the bottom, the censer has chipping to the foot and glaze pops to the rim, the bowl has a chip to the rim, and the basin has two chips to the rim.
