Description
A Chinese blue-ground famille rose lidded pot dating from the 19th century. The lid and body are decorated with Shou characters set against a ground of lotus tracery. Two pairs of beast heads hold wire handles on either side of the body.
Dimensions are: 5 1/2 inches tall X 9 inches in diameter, 14 cm X 22.9 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Provenance: From a private New York collection.
Condition: Good condition.
