A Worcester teabowl and saucer, circa 1755
Decorated with the 'Two Geese' pattern, transfer printed in outline and filled in with famille rose enamels, the birds standing beside flowering peonies, saucer 11.8cm diam (2)

The pattern appears to have been copied from a Chinese export design from the Yongzheng period. Worcester used a 'Smokey primitive' print as an outline, in the same manner as the more-popular 'Red Bull' pattern.
