Condition
There is some damage and minor restoration which is visible in the catalogue photograph. The damage comprises a chip to the top right hand corner, a fine crack in the border to the right with a tiny associated slither chip, a narrow area of blackened cracks in the border at the bottom, a blackened crack in the border at the top and another in the top left hand corner which extends into the printed image, terminating at her sternum. There is an area of fine cracks and chips around the bottom left hand corner which includes a loss on the left hand side which has been overpainted and and two pieces of enamel below which appear to have been restuck into position. This area is mostly confined to the border, only slightly affecting the printed area.
