A massive Venetian glass dish or charger, 17th or early 18th century
Circular with a folded rim, moulded with twelve spiralling ribs around the 'kick-up' centre, 41.3cm diam

Condition
In good condition with no damage. There is some typical very minor surface wear in places of little significance, including a very small number of tiny scratches visible with a lens and some very faint concentric scuffing to the centre. There is an elongated burst air bubble to the underside of the folded rim approximately 4.5cm wide from manufacture, with some ingrained dirt at the edges. There is a small piece of pale brown clinker to the centre of the charger, also from manufacture. There is typical light surface wear underneath the moulded ribs where this heavy charger has been standing as expected.
