A delightful pottery aryballos hand-painted with 2 confronting roosters divided by a pair of flowers, all in black and maroon pigments on a beige ground with meticulously incised details. The teardrop-form vessel rests upon a round yet stable base displaying a classic silhouette with an attenuated neck, a flared rim, and a petite, lug handle. Additional black and maroon pigments further adorn the dish with vertical striations lining the neck, polka-dots along the periphery of the rim, and a ray motif on the rim's top. Size: 2.2" Diameter x 3.6" H (5.6 cm x 9.1 cm)
