Assembled Set of Twenty-Six Limoges (Giraud & Brosseau or Singer) Porcelain Dinner Plates Designed by Jean Cocteau
Circa 1958
Most decorated with facial designs, each signed and stamped. Diameter of largest 10 inches.

Condition
Slight variations to diameters; some with wear and rubbing to decorated surface; various stamps marks to the underside; some plates with light short scratches to their centers, not of great consequence; a few plates do have slightly deeper scratch marks; there are some repeats to the various subjects; no apparent rim chips, stain discoloration, etc.; 14 plates have Giraud & Brosseau stamp marks; 12 plates have Singer stamp marks.
Sampling of variation to diameter size: smallest diameter: 9 5/8 inches (approximately five such plates)(red stamp mark) largest diameter: 10 1/8 inches (red stamp mark) one plate as sample size: 10 1/8 inches (red stamp mark) one plate as sample size: 9 7/8 inches (red stamp mark) one plate as sample size: 10 inches (red stamp mark) two plate as sample size: 9 7/8 inches (green stamp mark) etc.
