A PAIR OF COSTUMES WORN BY SIEGFRIED & ROY ON STAGE AT THE STARDUST CIRCA 1970S
The jackets of cream cotton twill embellished throughout with silver bugle beads; the tailcoat with rhinestone buttons worn by Siegfried, and the belted jacket worn by Roy. With three matching pairs of trousers each bearing a Cotroneo Costume label to waistband, two printed 'Siegfried' and one printed 'Roy'.

Siegfried: I'll never forget the day we opened at the Stardust. We had a huge press conference in front of the hotel. Roy and I drove up in a limousine with our tigers. A lump in the throat; my eyes filled with tears. Here was the recognition I'd been waiting for. What I had dreamed and fantasized about all those years in that little theater in Rosenheim - here it was, our name in lights.
