A PAIR OF JACKETS WORN BY SIEGFRIED & ROY ON STAGE AT THE STARDUST CIRCA 1970S
The pink wool jackets embellished throughout with bronze bugle beads and aurora borealis rhinestones, both with a peach satin lining. The tailcoat worn by Siegfried, and the belted jacket worn by Roy bearing a Cotroneo Costume label typed 'Mr. Roy', with matching pink twill stretch pants.
Footnotes:
Siegfried: For the Stardust, none of our requests was a problem. A few days later, all parties arrived at the hotel to sign. The owners bought with them a shiny new Silver Shadow Rolls Royce. They thought if they gave us the Rolls, we'd let them renege on the marquee billing. We weren't going to budge an inch...the contract was signed.
Roy: And we got to keep the Rolls!
