Description
Handsome, Large Art Pottery Vase, Peinn Mor Pottery, Scotland. Scottish potters Keith and Beryl Dawdry enjoyed for years being a favorite in Scotland or their unique, high quality pottery art pieces. Located in an old school house by Girvan Ayrshire, Scotland, their works were popular throughout Scotland, Europe and tourists. This exceptional vase has an image of a Scottish Highland cow on both sides. This breed of cattle is known for their reddish colors and long hair which falls into their faces which the artist(s) have captured perfectly. Signed on bottom Peinn Mor and initials BD for Beryl Dawdry. Vase was literally hand carried on the plane from Scotland by the daughter of the consignor to arrive safely. 19 x 10 x 6", mint condition and absolutely beautiful. Weighs 16 pounds so can handle a great number of flowers. Peinn Mor Pottery closed their doors permanently the first year of the pandemic.
