Description
Group of two Russian silver gilt and cloisonne enamel objects. One cigarette case decorated with scrolling leaves and flowers in traditional colors on a textured gilt ground. Impressed with an 84 Kokoshnik mark indicating the Moscow assay office and additionally impressed CK. One burlwood salt cellar with a silver gilt rim with repeating cloisonne enamel floral motifs. Impressed along the top with an 84 standard and two additional illegible marks.
Provenance: Property from the distinguished collection of Mr. James Lee Soffer, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
