Description
Russian silver picture frame in a Neoclassical style, with silver mounts on a verre ĆĀ©glomisĆĀ© tigers-eye surround. Decorated with four flowers and a basket of fruit, and surmounted with a realistic silver bow. Mark of Anders Nevalainen, St. Petersburg, circa 1900; additionally marked with '84' standard to underside of frame and stand.
Provenance: Property from the distinguished collection of Mr. James Lee Soffer, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
