Catalog Note:
This is a production example, hand-colored by Sax and covered with Black Opal glaze. Sax has outlined several areas in black along with polychroming much of the lid. The interior and underside of the divided tray are done in an unusual crystalline gun metal glaze.

Condition
There is a tiny glaze flake on a squirrel's tail and some scratches to the divided interior tray. No crazing or other chips, cracks or repairs.
