Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Compote No. 285A. Exceptionally rare Georg Jensen candy dish designed in 1918. On a stepped circular base, rising to a foliate openwork stem, the bowl formed as a stylized hand hammered shell with vine-shaped handle terminating in grape clusters. This design was made in several sizes. A similar example can be seen in the book GEORG JENSEN HOLLOWARE, The Silver Fund Collection by David Taylor and Jason Laskey, pg. 126. Circa 1930's.
