Containing above three hundred curious and uncommon receipts in cookery, pastry, preserving, pickling, candying, collaring, &c., first edition, 20 full-page woodcut bills of fare, woodcut head-pieces and decorative initials, some mostly marginal red staining, touching first word of title, some water-staining and spotting, lightly browned, 20th century morocco, covers from 18th century panelled calf laid down, 18th century burgundy label to spine in compartments, covers rubbed and marked, [Bitting p.217 (note); Maclean p.66; Oxford pp.63-64; cf. Cagle 723 & 724; Simon BG 816 & Vicaire 438 (various editions)], 8vo, Printed for T. Worrall, at Judge Coke's Head, over against St. Dunstan's Church, Fleetstreet, 1733.
