A set of four framed Chinese silk embroideries of birds in landscapes dating from the 19th century. The birds include an eagle, a pair of ducks, a crane, and a rooster.
Dimensions are: each measures 54 inches tall X 13 inches wide, 137.2 cm X 33 cm, while the frame measures 57 inches tall X 16 inches wide, 144.8 cm X 40.6 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: All embroideries feature creasing, staining, wear to the threads, and loose threads.
Provenance: From Mr. Roe in Daytona Beach, Florida. A family inheritance.
