A Chinese wucai vase dating from the 19th century. The body and neck feature eight white-ground scenes with flowers. The scenes sit upon a ground of black tracery with lotus tracery. The neck also features scholar's objects.
Dimensions are: 17 3/4 inches tall X 8 inches wide, 45.1 cm X 20.3 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There is one crack to the rim. There is a glaze chip to the foot.
Provenance: From a Ms. Cunningham in Houston, Texas.
