Sumba Sarong called "lau wuti kau", brown cotton ground with nassa shell and bead embellishment in shape of human figure with various animal forms, Sumba, Indonesia. Such textiles were reserved for the nobility. Mounted on stretcher. Ex. collection William Burch. Size: 45.25'' x 22.25'', (115 x 57 cm).
