Six piece assembled Mexican sterling hot beverage service after a pattern by Sanborn's, mid 20th century, having floral finials surmounting melon form bodies, tapering to circular feet, comprising a coffeepot, covered sugar, creamer, and waste bowl, marked 'Made in Mexico, Sterling " teapot marked Marciel 925, and oval tray marked "Hencho en Mexico R.J. 925 Sterling," all tested as sterling. Provenance: From the Private Collection of Veronica Holmes, Atlanta, Georgia. Coffeepot: h. 10". Tray: w. 26.75", d 17.75". Weight inclusive of all materials is 5891 grams or 189.4 Toz.
