Description
Three Rookwood pottery standard glaze articles, comprising a candle holder with clover decoration painted by Clara Lindeman in 1901, marked to underside with Rookwood logo, shape 710, and Lindeman's incised monogram; a bud vase with lily of the valley decoration painted by Elizabeth Lincoln in 1901, having the Rookwood logo, shape 924, and Lincoln's incised monogram; and a ewer with lily decoration painted by Jeanette Carick Swing (active 1900-1904), 1902, having the Rookwood logo, shape 799, and Swing's incised monogram. Candleholder approx: h. 3". Bud vase: h. 5.5". Ewer: h. 9".
Condition
Bud vase and ewer both have craquelure, candle holder as a 1/8" area of overglaze loss under the rim near the handle, no chips, cracks, or losses detected.
