England, 19th century. Both walnut with geometric band inlaid decoration, opening to the velvet-lined writing surfaces that cover open storage compartments, pen trays and storage fore-front. Larger: 5" height, 16" width, 9" depth

Condition

Rounded lid unit with veneer cracks to the top front with some loss to the inlaid veneer, one writing surface with broken side board that rests fine in place. Rectangular lid unit with age cracks to the lid with minor loss of some inlay.
