The Madonna figure has wax head and hands, and appears to have real human hair; her torso is stuffed and her skirt is on a paper form. She wears a crown, lace veil, velvet cloak and silk gown with silver thread, beading, sequins. The Infant with wax head, hands, and feet, wearing crown and sequined, beaded, silver-threaded silk gown. The glass dome is unattached and fits into a wood base. Figure is 15in. tall; dome is approx. 19in. x 6in. Condition: Wax in good condition; cloak faded, both gowns with tears/fraying.
