DESCRIPTION: A Pre-Columbian Olmec carved stone mask, carved with naturalistic human features with an open mouth, large eyes, and holes drilled into the mask’s ears. Includes a gold gilt wooden plinth display base.
CIRCA: Prob. 900-400 BC
ORIGIN: Hidalgo, Mexico.
DIMENSIONS: H: 4 1/4" W: 4 1/4". With stand base H: 10 1/2" W: 5 3/4".
