Antique Persian Silver Tea Serving Tray, 19th century, Shiraz crafting, decorated with fine artisanal handcrafting, edges with embossments and in the center an engraving of a the Persian Shah's (Sultan) court, with the pattern of Faravahar (Persian: ?روهر), figures and plantation motifs. Not marked: silver acid tested (high silver). Weight: 730 grams, measurements: 27.5X35 cm. Patina, light wear.* The relief that once graced the northern stairs of the Apadana at Persepolis is one of the most important examples of Achaemenid art.
