Unlined canvas, stamped with Blanchet supplier mark on the reverse. Very faint stretcher bar mark visible at right edge under raking light. Finely patterned craquelure, stabilized beneath the varnish layer. Some areas of discoloration to the varnish layer. Not examined out of frame.
Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Some modern pigments fluoresce as expected. No apparent retouching.
