Description
The Doors (Years Active 1965-1973, 1978), signed 8 ½ X 11 Lyric Sheet, “LA Woman.” All four signed in blue ink. Keyboardist Ray Manzarek explained the song's meaning to Uncut magazine September 2011: "A song about driving madly down the LA freeway - either heading into LA or going out on the 405 up to San Francisco. You're a beatnik on the road, like Kerouac and Neal Cassady, barreling down the freeway as fast as you can go.” The Doors performed this live only once, in Dallas at the State Fair Music Hall on December 11, 1970. This was the last title track to the last Doors album before Jim Morrison died. This item has been professionally custom matted and framed. Comes with a Letter of Authentication from Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators and Handwriting Analysis from GFA, along with the GFA guarantee of authenticity.
