A 19th Century Bronze Figural Clock. Is he a philosopher of Roman or Greek Mythology? Be your own curator as to that question. Quality casting with French brass clock works. No foudry markings, probably Continental in origin. Measures just short of 17" long and 9" tall. CONDITION: Excellent (recently ceaned and in running condition) and undamaged excepting of the clock works being loose. No breaks and no repairs to bronze statue. Excellent patina. No key, no pendulum, and back plate for clock is long gone. No apologies but rather and simply great sculptural bronze clock.
