A Circa 1900 Art Nouveau Stoneware Covered Jar extensively embossed with flowing foliage and flowers while the lid is of a single flower blossom with a ladies head emerging from the flower. Probably of English origin as its glaze would imply though possibly an Ohio born Sewer Tile whimsy ~ be your own curator as to its origin. Spurious mark scratched into base otherwise unmarked. CONDITION: Excellent. No cracks, no repairs, and two tiny chips at one flower at the back side of the vessel ~ very minor.
