Pair of Italian Painted and Parcel-Gilt Girandoles
fourth quarter 19th century, in the Baroque taste, decorated with carved giltwood scrollwork and acanthus leaves against a green-painted ground, the upper portion set with mirrors, the lower portion set with leaf- and scroll-carved candle branches terminating in foliate-carved candle cups.

In overall good condition.
Although not a matched pair, the carved decorative elements are compatible in their baroque quality.
