Description
A CHINESE YELLOW GROUND ENAMELED PORCELAIN 'BLESSINGS' BOWL, GUANGXU PERIOD, 1875-1908, the bowl with slightly everted rim centers a good luck symbol surrounded by five auspicious bats in orange and gold enamel, the bowl exterior has a meander scroll rim over four round medallions with blessing script embedded among scrolling tendrils of double gourds with pink flowers ending with lishui waves, raised on a circular foot with red six character overglaze mark. Height: 3 1/2 Diameter: 7 1/2"
Condition
