Depicts a woman in an Art Deco flapper headband smiling while looking off to the side. Established in 1908 by Claude Valsuani at 74 Rue des Plantes in Paris, Valsuani Foundry specialized in lost wax casting. Vasulani was also one of the first founders to number his casts, usually at a maximum of ten pieces.
Bronze,Approx. 19" t x 18 1/4" w x 7" d.
Signed and dated "Waters '23" on side, stamped "Cire C. Valsuani Perdue" on base.
From the collection of a North Scituate, Rhode Island estate.
