HIREZAKI EIHO (1880-1968) was born in Tokyo. He was a student of the famous painter and printmaker Toshihide Migita. After finishing his training as an artist, Eiho Hirezaki became active as an illustrator for newspapers, magazines and books. These illustrations, called kuchi-e, have become a collecting genre.
