An untitled oil portrait used as a working figure for two large paintings commissioned in the 1970s by Sears, Roebuck for their International Headquarters in Washington, DC. Michael John Angel is one of the foremost North American traditional painters, and is the director of two schools dedicated to the teaching of classical and realist painting. Hand signed at upper right. In gilt wooden frame.
