Antique Wood Trunk/ Box with metal lock and key ( key is taped to interior in envelop , not tested) . Box is hand painted with cream and green chrysanthemums on a Rusty orange background. Other fauna painted to accompany the flowers. Interior is light toned wood, lightly varnished with a an added chain connecting the lid to the box ( so it does not detail h off the hinges). Impressed no. 89 on interior of lid. Metal carry side handles, underside has flat metal feet to prevent box from scratching. Areas of dried paint and wear to metal hardware consistent with age, use and climate exposure. Box measures 17.75 in. Long, 13.75 in. Wide, Ht 12 in.
