Table of Fruit is an oil painting on board by Seth Wyman Steward (1844 - 1927). Signed by Steward on lower right â€Å“S.W. Steward”, painting depicts a table setting of fruit. On verso, there is an old tag and a newspaper clipping (see photos). Not only do Steward oil paintings, he was well known as a horse carriage decorator. Steward was active and resided in Maine and Connecticut with his works including landscapes, coastal scenes, decorative oils, among others. Oil on board painting comes in nice wooden gold gilt frame. Measurements of oil on board from front of painting is 24 inches (w) by 17.5 inches (h) and frame is approximately 28.5 inches(w) by 22.5 inches (h).
