A good swing cradle butter churn in original yellow paint with black pin striping and stenciled lettering on both sides marked "DAVIS SWING CHURN / NO. 4 / MANUFACTURED BY VERMONT FARM MACHINE CO. / BELLOWS FALLS VT. Some wear to the feet of the wooden swing supports, use wear, but overall good condition. The churn measures 35 1/2"W x 17"D x 15 1/2"H - the swing measures 49"W x 25"D x 39"H. Late 19th century.
