CONDITION
The painting is in good age-appropriate condition. A large scuff to the left edge, lower right corner and upper right to the sky. Scattered losses to the perimeter. Overall very fine craquelure, resulting in minor flaking and losses. Largest loss measuring, 1.5 x 1 cm (5/8 x 3/8 in.). Inspection under UV shows scattered retouching, to the lower right edge, left edge, to several of the hands and to the background figures, around 10-20%. Overall heavy masking varnish.
