French Gilt Incised Marble Top Corner Cabinet, 19th c., the ogee edge white marble over double oval glazed doors, on a stepped plinth base, H.- 36 1/2 in., W.- 29 1/4 in., D.- 17 3/4 in. Provenance: British Antiques, Magazine St., New Orleans, Louisiana.
Condition
Condition consistent with age and use. Wear and tear present throughout. Wear to gilt and gesso throughout. Especially near the corners of the feet. Marble was broken across proper left corner and has since been repaired. No key present, but door do not swing open. Velvet lining in good condition. A charming example.
